SEAR was born where water meets passion. As lifelong surfers, swimmers, and adventurers, we experienced first-hand the frustration of compromised ear protection — plugs that blocked sound, felt uncomfortable, or simply didn’t stay in place when the water got rough.
Water should be freedom.
But too often, ear problems like Swimmer’s Ear or Surfer’s Ear turned that freedom into risk.
We knew there had to be a better way — gear that protected without compromising performance. That’s when SEAR was created.

Meet the Founders
Two athletes. One mission. Total freedom in water.
SEAR was founded by Andrea Ferrario and Julia Raciniewska — both driven by a shared passion for water sports, performance, and human potential.
As lifelong surfers, swimmers, and adventurers, they experienced the same recurring frustration: limited gear that either blocked sound entirely, fell out during activity, or failed to protect ears from long-term damage.
With complementary backgrounds in entrepreneurship, product design, sports performance, and wellness, Andrea and Julia combined their expertise to create SEAR — a brand dedicated to solving these challenges through innovation and athlete-focused design.
